What data do you process about me and why?
If you vote for the P&O Cruises Audience Award, we process the following details about you:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your IP address
- Details of how you voted, which will be kept confidential and used for auditing purposes only
We use your data to pursue BAFTA’s legitimate interests as follows:
- Operating a public vote for the P&O Cruises Audience Award
- Detecting and preventing actual or suspected voting fraud
If you give you consent to receive our newsletter, we will process you data in accordance with our website and newsletter privacy policy.

How long will you keep my data for?
Data on how you voted will be kept 12 months for confidential auditing purposes only.
All other data will be kept on record for 12 months

Your data will be stored in the UK.
Who will have access to my data?
BAFTA is using a third party service provider, Ten 4, to provide the voting platform. Civica is supporting BAFTA in auditing the votes, and attempting to identify potential voting fraud.
Will you give my data to anyone else?
If you choose to enter the P&O Cruises prize draw, we will pass your contact information to P&O Cruises.
Except for situations where we are legally obliged to pass on your data, such as to law enforcement agencies, or to deal with suspected voting fraud, we will not give your data to anyone else.
What rights does GDPR give me?

- Access: You have the right to view the data we hold about you and to receive copies of this data in digital format.
- Object: You have the right to object to our processing of your personal data.

Please provide details in your email/letter of what actions you would like us to take. Depending on the nature of the request and whether or not your request comes from the email address we have on file for you, we may need to verify your identity so that we don't give out information to the wrong person, or delete the wrong person's information. In most cases it helps if you are able to provide a contact phone number so that we can validate your identify and discuss the request with you.
